There seems to be a common theme with a few women lately...getting healthier. A couple of years ago Celeste Jones and a few other women spearheaded the Goobs ( Get Of Our Butts) challenge- it was a great motivator. We would publicly state what our challenge was for ourselves and once a week report whether we reached our goals or not. For some reason, the fear of public, anonymous humiliation was enough to motivate me more than our wooden paddles.
This year we thought we'd put a spin on 'Lent' . Nothing says religious sacrifice like exercise and healthy living right? lol- Oh go with it! So if you are interested here is our little banner

My blood pressure is borderline, so Barney has been wanting me to exercise for a while now. I have been waiting for this winter to let up, but I have given up on that!
I also realize I am behind in writing posts, but I have managed to hurt myself ( nothing serious) and typing is not a great idea at the moment. Hopefully I'll get some reprieve soon. LOL...that makes me sound like I think you are DYING for me to write...

Edit *** 1) I am aiming to exercise for 40 Days, but the intent is for everyone to get involved for 40 Days. If you say I am going to exercise 4 times in 40 days, that is up to you! LOL
